MILWAUKEE, WI – Milwaukee Alderwoman Marina Dimitrijevic has earned the endorsement of Voces de la Frontera Action (VDLFA).
“We’re thrilled to support Marina Dimitrijevic for Mayor. Our fight to build a Milwaukee for all of us — no matter who we are, or where we come from has never been more critical.” said Christine Newman-Ortiz, Executive Director of Voces de la Frontera Action. “Marina is a progressive champion, who will unapologetically go to bat for all Milwaukeans, not just the wealthy few. She has always stood with us in our fight for immigrant and worker rights, and a Milwaukee free from discrimination. She’s fought alongside us for years, and we’re honored to stand with her now.”

Voces de la Frontera Action is a membership-based community organization led by low-wage workers, immigrants and youth whose mission is to protect and expand civil rights and workers’ rights through leadership development, community organizing and empowerment. VDLFA strives to create a world where all people live free of poverty and discrimination, have access to safe, dignified work, quality education, and health care; where immigrants can cross borders with dignity; and human rights and workers’ rights are respected; where government is truly “of the people”, and all families thrive.
